I love books, the feel of them, the smell of them, but it wasn’t always that way. I was late to the love books party :(
I didn’t have parents who read to me or valued education as a child, I was partially deaf for much of my vital school years and as a result left school at 16 barely able to read. Then I had our son and everything changed.
Books became a massive part of my life. I taught myself to be a better reader by reading to our son and before I knew it, I had fallen in love with books.
Now there is no holding me back. I’m not only at the I love books party, I’m the host :)

On second thoughts go get Lassie, I’m not that obsessed with books. You can get me a book when it’s all over, I don’t mind waiting.
