Woohooo! It’s Dr Seuss’s Birthday on the 2nd March and a great excuse no matter your age to read your favorite Dr Seuss book or dress up as your favorite Seuss character.
Do you like my thing 1 and thing 2 picture?
I thought turning us into thing 1 and thing 2 for Dr Seuss Day was apt since we are never apart and tend to get up to mischief together. Hey what are best friends for.
We will be celebrating Seuss Day by reading Dr Seuss books and having some fun with rhyming challenges.
Got to say It’s not easy choosing just one Dr Seuss book to love when you have so many to choose from:
Cat in the Hat
The Lorax
Horton Hears a Who
Green Eggs and Ham
OH, The Places You’ll Go
but only one Dr Seuss book can take the top spot and it is …..fanfare please too, too, toot ‘How The Grinch Stole Christmas’
I read my very tattered copy of The Grinch every Christmas sat under the Christmas tree. Even though my kids are well and truly grown up it will never stop me from reading Dr Seuss books.
Happy Birthday Dr Seuss
